In this project the influence of CIT EMF on primary human Osteoblasts was verified. The primary human Osteoblasts were exposed 3 times a week for 21 days to the EMF. The EMF treatment increased the vitality and the maturation of the Osteoblasts. Osteoclasts from human monocytes in comparison were not influenced by the EMF during maturation. The EMF can consequently be used to support the bone regneration for fracture healing or for the treatment of Osteoporose.
